this one is for the ladies...

Curled up in my bed with a glass of Chamomile tea reading this month's Essence Magazine's I started to really give some thought to the relationships we Black Women have with one another. In one of the feature articles, "Black Women Behaving Badly" Kierna Mayo examines why other Black women are often our worst enemies and how we should put aside jealousies to love, support, and affirm our sisters. I couldn't agree more and wanted to take the time out and honor a few of the wonderful ladies who inspire me daily. (I have the strange feeling this list of lovely ladies is going to grow rapidly..) GET IT!
